This Privacy Policy explains what information the Dingu app ("we", "us") collects and how we use it. By using Dingu, you agree to this policy.
What we collect. If you play as a guest, we create an anonymous account so we can save your progress on your device — this requires no personal information. If you create a full account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely and never visible to us in plain text). All players choose a username, and may optionally upload a profile picture. We also store gameplay data such as your rank, level, win streaks, and match results so the game and leaderboards work.
How we use it. We use this information only to run the game: to sign you in, save your progress, match you with other players, and display leaderboards. Your username and profile picture are visible to other players you play with. We do not sell your data, we do not show third-party advertising, and we do not use your information for marketing.
Where your data is stored. Dingu's data is stored securely using Supabase, our backend provider, on servers located in Singapore. We keep your data only as long as your account exists. Inactive guest accounts and finished game data are automatically deleted after a period of time.
Your choices. You can change your username or profile picture at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from the App's account screen. Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.
Children. Dingu is not directed at children under [13/16 — set to match your target markets]. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age.
Changes and contact. We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date will reflect any changes.
